Bucket Pin Measurement Guide
Although we have many OEM specifications on file, from time to time we may ask you to verify and take measurements yourself so that we can ensure correct fitment of your order.
There are three key pieces of information we will need: Pin Diameter, Centres, Width
Step 1
Pick up a tape measure and / or vernier caliper
Step 2
Go to an existing bucket or attachment that fits nicely onto the dipper arm or quick attach of the excavator
Step 3
Take measurements A, B, C, D, E as accurately as possible
Hint: Pin diameter measurements are usually of a 5mm increment, so it is common for pins to be 25mm, 30mm, 35mm etc. This is not always the case though, so please contact us if you are unsure.
Step 4
Let a member of our sales team know your A, B, C, D, E measurements by entering them into the 'Add a note to your order' field if you are ordering online or by emailing them to sales@jbequipment.us
If sending by email, please ensure to state your order number (if you have one) or provide the name your enquiry or order was placed under.
Please do not send us photos of a tape measure without also writing the measurements in the email.
Once we have received your information we will then confirm with you that everything is satisfactory and as expected.
